Pyrotecnico on Voom Networks

In November 2006 Pyrotecnico show designer Ralph Piacquadio, Mark Wilson and their Pyrotecnico crew battled rain and wind at Oyster Point, Virginia to deliver a unique fireworks display around a large pond in a corporate complex. The entire story is featured in the documentary, "Magnificent Obsessions" produced by Voom Networks.

Super Bowl XXXVIII

Pyrotecnico produced the fireworks and special effects for MTV's halftime show for Super Bowl 38 in Reliant Stadium, Houston, Texas.

The six minute set-up time was not the only factor that made this a high-pressure event. Our show producer, Ralph Piacquadio called live pyrotechnic cues for the entire MTV half-time performance. Then, our staff of 6 also broke down the show six minutes after the last number was complete.

2004 Democratic National Convention

Despite a tight deadline, and short turnaround time of less than nine days, we produced one of the largest displays ever produced in Boston at the University of Massachusettes. We overcame inclement weather and last-minute location changes. We choreographed the display to John Williams' musical score to deliver a memorable show, all while complying with some of the nation's most stringent regulations and secret service requirements.
