Audiences expect each fireworks show to surpass the last one they saw. So we are continuously integrating the latest pyrotechnics with sound, lighting, theatrical props, close proximity effects, confetti and streamers. This expectation fuels our passion for creating new results for each show we design.
Firing from rooftops
Firing pyrotechnics from rooftops had been done since fireworks were invented, but in 1998 we took it to an new level during a Monday Night Football halftime show at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. Working with local officials to deliver a safe show, we loaded 56 positions of crackle comets around the top of the stadium roof fired them in sequence.
We've developed many innovations
Throughout the past 100 years Pyrotecnico has introduced many innovations to the fireworks industry. In the 1920s our great grandfather developed extravagant sets against which fireworks shows were presented. They also developed the "Primo Finale" or "Opening Finale" at the beginning of the show. It was very different from the old style of opening shows with several salutes.

We search the world for products and techniques.
Europe
Many of our techniques have their origins in European-style designs, where multi-shot devices are used to get as much width as possible in a display that appears to explode close to the ground. This technique of "designing from the bottom to the top" has been adopted by many U.S. companies.
China
Pyrotecnico travels to China many times a year to contribute new product ideas to be researched and developed.
